Job description

As a Data Scientist II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and formulate data-driven solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, actionable insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis to develop and implement advanced algorithms and analytical solutions

  • Manage endtoend data science projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the successful delivery of actionable insights

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture

  • Contribute to the strategic vision of the Data Science team, providing input on initiatives that align with business objectives

  • Apply strong analytical and problemsolving skills to address complex data challenges and generate valuable insights

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience within data analysis, statistical modeling, or another related field

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing advanced analytics models and algorithms

  • Strong project management and organizational abilities

  • Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline

  • Experience in leading and ownership of complex data projects

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
