Sr AWS Data Engineer

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses on AWS.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT processes using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and EMR/Spark.
• Implement robust data ingestion frameworks leveraging tools like Kinesis, S3, and API Gateway.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance data solutions.
• Lead technical design discussions and provide mentorship to junior data engineers.
• Ensure best practices in data modeling, performance optimization, and data governance.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using CloudFormation or Terraform.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Data Engineer to design, build, and scale modern data solutions on AWS. This role requires strong expertise in AWS data services, ETL pipelines, and big data architecture, along with leadership experience in guiding engineering teams., * 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including 3+ years in a Lead or Technical Leadership role.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services, including:
• AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, EMR/Spark, Kinesis, Athena, RDS, API Gateway
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Shell scripting and/or Scala is a plus.
• Extensive experience building and managing:
• Data Lakes and Data Warehouses
• ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion systems
• Solid understanding of big data frameworks and distributed systems.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including:
• CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Salary Range*: $130 - $150 K per Year *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
