Job description
Were seeking a Senior Broadcast Network Engineer to serve as a strategic leader at the intersection of enterprise IT and live television production. This is a high-impact role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining mission-critical broadcast and production networks that support global streaming and on-air delivery.
This individual will own both broadcast and production network environments, acting as the primary technical authority for ensuring high availability, performance, and security across live video infrastructure., Design and implement scalable Spine-Leaf network architectures and segmentation strategies (VLAN/VRF) to support high-priority traffic Manage and secure network environments using enterprise firewall and endpoint protection solutions within a zero-trust framework Lead configuration and optimization of switching environments (Juniper, Arista, etc.) with a focus on high-throughput video delivery and time synchronization (PTP) Build and deploy networks end-to-end, including physical infrastructure (rack/cabling) and logical configuration (VPNs, QoS, load balancing) Serve as a Tier-3 escalation point for complex outages, leveraging deep packet inspection and advanced troubleshooting Develop documentation and SOPs to support scalability and long-term infrastructure health Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams to support streaming protocols (SRT/RTMP) and optimize broadcast workflows
Requirements
7-10+ years of experience in high-availability network environments (broadcast, telecom, or similar preferred) Strong expertise in firewall management and switching (Juniper, Arista, etc.) Experience with enterprise systems (VMware, Active Directory, Windows Server) Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, O365) in hybrid models Relevant certifications (CCNP, JNCIP, etc.) preferred
