Job description

  • You will install, configure, and maintain databases and ensure reliable backup and recovery processes.
  • You will monitor, analyze, and optimize our database and infrastructure environment.
  • You familiarize yourself with new database technologies and actively contribute your knowledge to the team.
  • You analyze and resolve performance issues in production systems.
  • You assist in the development of backup, availability, and operational concepts for our databases.

Requirements

  • Interest in administering databases such as Oracle, MariaDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server.
  • Enthusiasm for topics related to data security, backup strategies, and high availability.
  • An analytical and structured approach to solving technical challenges.
  • Conceptual thinking and the ability to develop sustainable solutions.
  • A service-oriented mindset and approach, as well as high standards for quality.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborating with different departments and teams.

Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to point out that the collective agreement minimum salary for this position starts at a gross annual salary at around € 43,456.
