IDAM Powershell engineer

Note

• Candidates should be based in Belgium, France, The Netherland or the UK
• The client will accept UK based candidates only if they use an accredited umbrella company for this assignment
• 8 days a month at the office is mandatory

Requirements:

1. Advanced PowerShell (5.1/7+): scripting, functions, modules, remoting.
2. Strong knowledge of PowerShell best practices: code readability, consistent naming, approved verbs, parameter validation, secure secret handling, unit/integration testing where feasible, and source control (Git).
3. Familiarity with PowerShell Script Analyzer and static code analysis tools.
4. Solid Active Directory administration and identity concepts (authentication, authorization, delegation, group strategy).
5. Reporting and data skills: querying and working with SQL (T-SQL basics), data shaping, and producing clear operational/security reports.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
7. Ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Experience working with Scrum/Agile Methodologies.
10. Experience working on Multi-Cultural environment.

Your Role:

• Design, develop, and maintain PowerShell modules and scripts to automate operational tasks and reduce manual effort.
• Create and maintain design documents, including technical diagrams, process flows, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into custom solution designs and system requirements.
• Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities, recommend remediation strategies, and implement necessary controls.
• Monitor and maintain Scripts and the infrastructure including servers, databases, and other components, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure running our customizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, network security, and compliance, to ensure alignment of security initiatives and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Maintain PowerBi dashboards for reporting.
