Job description

Role Overview: As a Partner Development Manager in the Cloud Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our cloud solutions through strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with partners, understanding their needs, and aligning them with Arrow ECS's offerings to grow the business and market position.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and grow Cloud spend within your Partner base
  • Conduct regular meetings (both online and face-to-face) with partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Provide training and support to partners to enhance their knowledge of our products and services.
  • Follow up on all sales leads and ensure timely and effective communication with partners.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the ArrowSphere platform and Internal/Vendor Programmes & Incentives
  • Additional Sales activities and initiatives as the business requires

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales and relationship management within the IT industry, particularly in selling to or through partners
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud solutions and services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and expand partner spend
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with major cloud vendors such as Microsoft or AWS
  • Familiarity with vendor programs and the ability to leverage them to drive business growth
  • Understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape in the cloud computing market
