Are you an experienced IT infrastructure professional with strong expertise in network engineering and Microsoft 365/Azure environments? We are seeking a Human Services Network Analyst to support a high-impact temporary project.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a sophisticated enterprise environment supporting critical public services technology. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with network engineering, cloud administration, systems infrastructure, and cybersecurity technologies in a fast-paced environment., The Human Services Network Analyst performs advanced technical and engineering duties within the IT unit of the Human Services Department. This high-level role is responsible for administering, managing, maintaining, and optimizing multiple enterprise technologies supporting department-wide operations., * Administer and manage Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Support and maintain enterprise networking infrastructure, including routing, switching, and wireless technologies
- Configure and administer Palo Alto Networks technologies, including firewalls, SD-WAN, Prisma, SASE, and GlobalProtect
- Manage identity and access systems, including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
- Support virtual desktop environments, including Azure Virtual Desktop
- Maintain enterprise email systems, including Exchange Online and email security platforms
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance, security, and system reliability
- Assist with vulnerability management, remediation, and cybersecurity initiatives
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure resiliency efforts
- Collaborate with internal teams and end users to resolve technical issues and improve systems
Requirements

Qualified candidates will have recent, hands-on experience in computer network engineering and Microsoft 365/Azure administration, along with direct experience in several of the following areas:
Networking & Security
- Palo Alto Networks (Firewall, SD-WAN, Prisma, GlobalProtect)
- Cisco networking (routing, switching, Wi-Fi)
- Network Security Design (SASE, ZTNA, LPA, ALZ)
- Vulnerability scanning and remediation tools such as Microsoft Defender, NMAP, and Tenable
- Packet capture and analysis tools including Wireshark, Splunk, and Fiddler
- Network monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, NAble, and LogicMonitor
Microsoft Cloud & Systems Administration
- Microsoft 365 Administration (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint)
- Azure architecture, provisioning, and management (Azure VMs, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Networking)
- Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, IIS, SQL, SMB, Printing, PowerShell)
Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
- Dell enterprise servers and SAN appliances
- Data sensitivity tagging and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) using Microsoft Purview and Azure
- Third-party Security Operations and Managed Detection & Response (MDR) platforms such as
- CrowdStrike, Arctic Wolf, Red Canary, and Adlumen
- Enterprise backup solutions
- Email security protocols and technologies (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, encryption) and tools such as Proofpoint, Mimecast, Barracuda, and Ironscales
- Experience leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, * Recent practical experience in network engineering
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting enterprise-level systems and infrastructure
