The Master Data Manager is accountable for defining and leading the master data domain strategy, governance model, and operating rhythm to ensure high-quality, trusted data across Liquid IV in partnership with functional data owners and stewards. This manager must collaborate with the central Data & Analytics team as well as Master Data owners across the operating companies to enable accuracy and compliance.
This role combines people leadership with domain ownership, overseeing a team of master data professionals while partnering closely with business and technology leaders to align data capabilities with organizational priorities.
We are looking for a proven leader who can translate business strategy into scalable master data standards, platforms, and processes, and who is comfortable driving change and decision making in complex, matrixed environments.
The ideal candidate brings deep master data and governance expertise, strong technical fluency across ERP and MDM platforms, and the ability to influence at the executive level. This role is critical to enabling operational efficiency, analytics, and growth through disciplined, outcome-driven master data management.
Functions and duties of this role include, but not limited to:
Core Accountability
Own the master data operating model, governance, and roadmap for Liquid IV; accountable for assigned domains, governance, roadmap execution and outcomes.
Master Data Management
Set enterprise and domain-level strategy, standards, hierarchies, and prioritization to ensure scalable and consistent master data.
Data Quality
Define quality targets and KPIs, establish escalation models, and sponsor remediation investments to address systemic issues.
Data Governance
Establish the governance model, decision rights, and forums-creating controls without bureaucracy and autonomy without chaos.
Stakeholder Engagement
Influence executive stakeholders and align master data strategy with business priorities and outcomes.
Analysis & Reporting
Use insights to inform the master data roadmap, build investment cases, and drive transformation initiatives.
Process Optimization
Enable end-to-end master data process architecture and continuous improvement across the organization.
Tools & Platforms
Execute within Wellbeing Collective tools while evaluating and recommending tools and architectural direction for Liquid I.V.-owned platforms.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a data, technology, or business-related field required; MBA or advanced certifications preferred.
Experience
8+ years of experience including people leadership, governance ownership, and master data or data strategy accountability.
Industry Context
Experience in enterprise-scale, ERP-centric environments with demonstrated transformation delivery; CPG experience preferred.
Governance Exposure
Proven experience defining and operating a master data governance model, including decision rights and accountability, preferably within a hybrid or federated model.
Technical Skills
Architecture-level understanding of master data platforms and integrations; experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Syndigo preferred.
Data Management
Ownership of enterprise data strategy and full master data lifecycle management.
Analytical Thinking
Use analytics and insights to guide strategic decisions and prioritize investments.
Business Acumen
Align master data capabilities to measurable financial, operational, and growth outcomes.
Communication
Demonstrate executive-level communication skills to drive alignment, clarity, and decision-making.
Leadership
Provide formal people leadership and performance management while influencing business partners through a collaborative, win-win approach.
Change Management

Work Environment:
- Hybrid office environment with flexibility for industry events., The expected salary range for this position is $113,500 - $145,000 annually and is bonus eligible. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
