Network Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable network infrastructure for critical utility systems.
• Lead the implementation and management of network security policies and controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, including connectivity, routing, switching, and security incidents, ensuring rapid restoration of service.
• Document network configurations, changes, and security policies to ensure operational consistency and adherence to compliance standards.
• Play a key role in testing disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) to ensure critical systems remain available during emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in mission critical environments and an in-depth understanding of both network engineering and security operations., * 5+ years of experience in Network Engineering and operations ideally within the utilities or critical infrastructure sector

• Automation & Scripting using Python, Bash, Ansible
• Security Tools & Technologies: Firewalls (Palo Alto, Aruba, Cisco, Linux)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications preferred (CCNP, PCNSE, JNCIP, CWNP)
