Develop and maintain verification artifacts, including plans, protocols, and reports, in compliance with FDA 21 CFR, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and related standards. Support risk management activities including defect triage, impact assessments, and root-cause investigations. Partner closely with engineers, product managers, architects, and quality teams to ensure requirements are testable and quality is embedded early in the development lifecycle. Participate in design reviews to verify that design inputs and outputs meet quality and regulatory expectations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 6+ years of experience in software test engineering, verification, or quality engineering. 2+ years of experience in regulated software development environments such as medical devices, digital health, or similar industries. Strong expertise in software verification and validation, including defect management, requirements traceability, and risk-based testing. Demonstrated experience designing and implementing automated testing across API, web, mobile, or similar platforms. Experience working within modern CI/CD ecosystems such as GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, or similar tooling. Strong programming or scripting skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript for test automation and tooling. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with a collaborative and quality-focused mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience in medical devices or other regulated environments. Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, Jest, or similar tools. Experience with BDD automated testing and integration with Jira test management tools such as Xray or Zephyr. Understanding of cloud-native systems, APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures. A builder mindset, with the ability to continuously improve frameworks, tooling, and quality processes. Exposure to compliance standards such as HIPAA and GDPR. Experience with end-to-end testing involving both software and connected hardware components.
