QA Automation Engineer

This opportunity involves designing and implementing a scalable automation testing framework while working closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams. General Conditions - Contract duration: 6 months - Location: Remote / Hybrid (TBC) - Hourly Rate: TBC after meeting - Start: ASAP Key Responsibilities - Design and build a test automation framework from scratch - Define the overall automation strategy and testing best practices - Focus primarily on backend test automation, with some frontend coverage - Evaluate and select appropriate automation tooling (e.g. Playwright, Selenium) - Query and validate data within AWS RDS environments - Integrate automated testing into the existing GitLab CI/CD pipeline - Work closely with engineering, product, and QA stakeholders Requirements - Proven experience as an Automation Engineer - Strong experience building automation frameworks from scratch - Experience with backend and frontend test automation - Knowledge of
