Job description
We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and support secure, scalable cloud platforms across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on infrastructure, automation, identity, and platform improvement. You will help modernise legacy services, deliver resilient cloud solutions, and work closely with technical and non-technical teams to support business change.
What you will be doing
- Design, build, and support cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments
- Deliver secure, scalable, and resilient platform solutions aligned to business and technical needs
- Improve and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines
- Support cloud migrations, platform upgrades, and the transition away from legacy infrastructure
- Work closely with security, networking, and delivery teams to maintain reliable and compliant services
- Provide technical guidance and act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
- Identify opportunities to use AI tools and automation to improve operational efficiency, monitoring, and service delivery across the cloud estate

Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or systems engineering
- Good working knowledge of Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation tooling, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of identity, security, governance, and operational best practice in cloud environments
- Experience supporting migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure change in complex environments
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders and communicate technical issues clearly
- Awareness of emerging AI and LLM technologies, with the ability to assess where they can add value in infrastructure operations and engineering workflows

- Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS, Microsoft, Terraform, or security would be an advantage
- Experience working in complex, changing environments with a strong focus on delivery and continuous improvement is desirable
