Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.

Administer and manage servers (Windows/Linux), virtualization platforms, and cloud environments.

Monitor system performance, network availability, and security using appropriate tools.

Perform regular system updates, patches, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.

Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and security policies.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control across systems and applications.

Support infrastructure for enterprise applications, databases, and internal systems.

Perform capacity planning and system optimisation to ensure scalability and performance.

Collaborate with developers, support teams, and stakeholders to resolve infrastructure-related issues.

Participate in infrastructure planning, upgrades, and technology implementation projects.

Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.

Provide technical support and guidance to internal users and teams.

Contribute to continuous improvement of IT operations, processes, and standards.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Network and Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimise enterprise IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems. The role requires strong technical expertise, proactive monitoring, and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems., (The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

5+ years of proven experience as a Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role in enterprise environments.

Strong hands-on experience with network technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.

Proven expertise in server administration (Windows Server, Linux/Unix systems).
-
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar platforms.
-
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
-
Strong understanding of network security, system hardening, and data protection practices.
-
Experience with monitoring tools and system performance optimisation.
-
Hands-on experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across network and system layers.
-
Understanding of IT Infrastructure best practices, including ITIL principles.
-
Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policies, and identity/access management.
-
Ability to perform system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure deployments.

Strong documentation skills for infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
-
Experience working in Agile, IT support, or infrastructure project environments.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to incidents and outages.
