As part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years. This role will be within the Main Civil Works Section. What will you do? The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is seeking a talented Digital Engineering Co-ordinator to join its Design and Build team, supporting one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure projects. This role will play a key part in driving digital delivery across the Sizewell C project, supporting the implementation and coordination of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will help shape and embed innovative digital ways of working, ensuring consistent, high-quality information management throughout design, construction and handover stages. Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, this is an opportunity to contribute to a once-in-a-generation project that will define the future of low-carbon energy in the UK.
- Supporting delivery of the Employer's Information Requirements and the Project Information Model
- Implementing and managing BIM processes and digital workflows across the project lifecycle
- Coordinating the development and integration of multidisciplinary BIM models
- Promoting the use of digital tools and technologies to improve efficiency, quality and safety
- Supporting project teams and supply chain partners in producing graphical and non-graphical information
- Helping embed digital culture and upskilling teams in BIM and project information processes
- Enabling 4D (programme), 5D (cost) and 6D (asset) model integration to support construction and handover
- Identifying and resolving clashes and data issues through effective model coordination
- Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation across digital project delivery
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tekla?, * Experience in BIM coordination within design and/or construction environments
- Strong working knowledge of tools such as Revit, Tekla, Navisworks, Solibri or Trimble Connect
- Understanding of common data environments, BIM execution plans and ISO19650 standards
- Experience in model coordination, clash detection and digital workflows
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
