Job description
We are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our Frontline team, supporting applications within the TfL business unit hosted in Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on incident management, system analysis, and maintaining application performance and availability. You will work collaboratively across teams and with third-party suppliers to ensure services meet agreed service levels and continuously improve., * Manage and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs and KPIs
- Support and maintain applications hosted in Microsoft Azure
- Investigate system and data issues through analysis and problem-solving techniques
- Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to resolve issues effectively
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and share knowledge across the team
- Monitor system performance to ensure uptime and service reliability targets are met
- Follow established processes and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements
- Experience supporting applications in Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, including Azure and/or AKS
- Strong SQL skills (Microsoft SQL Server)
- Experience supporting SQL-based applications
- Scripting experience using PowerShell and/or Bash
Desirable Skills
- SFTP
- Kubernetes, containers, pods, and microservices
- Kusto Query Language (KQL)
- XML and SOAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Linux systems
- Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle databases
Additional Experience
- Understanding of ITIL environments and processes
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
