We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support and Power Apps Specialist to join our dynamic technology team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive technical support across various platforms, specialising in Power Apps development and optimisation. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing IT systems, ensuring seamless operation and user satisfaction. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a solid understanding of diverse IT environments including Windows, macOS, Linux, and network infrastructure., * Deliver expert technical support for desktop environments, including hardware and software troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Manage and support Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and TCP connections.
- Administer enterprise tools such as SCCM, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and utilise these platforms for incident tracking and resolution.
- Maintain and optimise network security measures including firewall configurations and VPN access to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Develop customised solutions using Power Apps to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist with software deployment, updates, and patch management using SCCM or equivalent tools.
- Provide help desk support with excellent customer service skills to resolve user issues promptly and effectively.
- Document technical procedures and solutions clearly for future reference and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades or new technology integrations while minimising disruption.
- Analyse system performance metrics to identify potential improvements or preventative maintenance needs.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical support?, * Proven experience in IT support roles with a focus on desktop support and network administration.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, LAN/WAN networks.
- Hands-on experience developing or supporting Power Apps solutions within an organisational context.
- Strong familiarity with operating systems including Windows (client/server), macOS, Linux distributions.
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques across various platforms and hardware components.
- Experience working with enterprise management tools such as SCCM, BMC Remedy, ServiceNow or Jira is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Analytical skills capable of diagnosing complex issues efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service standards.
