Job description

o Lead end-to-end release execution across QA, staging, and production environments for NGPOS services o Own release planning, readiness reviews, sequencing, and go/no-go decision-making processes o Coordinate closely with engineering, QA, DevOps/SRE, and offshore teams to ensure deployment alignment and release quality o Manage CI/CD-driven deployment pipelines and support build validation, code integration, and release stability o Identify and resolve deployment failures, integration conflicts, and version inconsistencies across environments o Ensure API versioning integrity, deployment traceability, rollback readiness, and release compliance standards o Monitor deployment health, release outcomes, and environment stability through dashboards, alerting, and observability tooling o Drive release process improvement, automation, and CI/CD quality gates to improve repeatability and reduce production risk o Coordinate hotfixes, rollback strategies, and patch releases when required o Mentor release/deployment engineers and establish repeatable best practices across onshore/offshore delivery teams o Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to support release readiness, dependency analysis, risk identification, reporting, and release governance improvements

Requirements

o 8+ years of experience in Release Engineering, Deployment Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering environments o Strong experience leading complex releases across QA, staging, and production environments o Experience supporting Java/Spring Boot applications in CI/CD-driven ecosystems o Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar) and release coordination o Solid understanding of REST APIs, API versioning, distributed systems, and integration/release dependencies o Experience troubleshooting deployment failures, release integrity issues, rollback planning, and environment inconsistencies o Strong stakeholder communication skills with experience coordinating across engineering, QA, DevOps, and offshore teams o Exposure to scripting/automation (Go preferred, not required), o Experience within retail, POS, or enterprise transaction systems o Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures o Experience with database deployment strategies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB) o Exposure to AI-assisted engineering or agentic tooling for release management, automation, or risk analysis o Experience building deployment dashboards, release observability, or alerting frameworks o Knowledge of edge computing concepts or IoT-related integrations (MQTT) o Experience implementing automated quality gates, release governance, or policy-based deployment controls o Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud deployment experience

Benefits & conditions

Pay Range - 60$/hr. - 67$/hr.
