Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Lead Software Engineer in New York, NY to p artner with global Finance stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, perform data reconciliation, assess system impacts, and translate complex business needs into robust, technology-driven solutions. Oversee the physical and logical data modeling, ETL pipeline design, reporting application and API for downstream design , development, and deployment of applications and data platforms that enable accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements prioritization, technical design reviews, code review, and production deployment governance. Ensure that system architectures meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, performance, and audit readiness. Lead and mentor a global engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement..
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teradata?, * Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

Requires seven (7) years of experience in the position offered or seven (7) years as an Associate, Senior Software Engineer Consultant, or a related occupation

Requires seven (7) years of experience with the following skills:

data warehouse - Teradata;

data modeling for the financial industry; and

ETL tools.

Requires six (6) years of experience with the following skills:

SQL.

Requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills:

leading software development teams;

and DevOps including:
- CI/CD,
- and Jenkins.
Benefits & conditions
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $200,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
