Day Program Cook

Provide care to child clients within the framework of a multidisciplinary team. Participates in the implementation and care of child clients. Complete the appropriate documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in client safety care. Assist with the preparation of meals, the ordering and stocking of food and supplies, and compliance with all regulations relating to food service. Clean and sanitize as instructed. As needed, provide transportation assistance to clients (based on an insurable driving record). This position will be discussed in more depth during the interview.

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Food preparation for special diets?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Must have a minimum of a high school diploma, HS transcripts, or GED/HS equivalency certificate.

• Must have the ability to follow special menus and diets for a large number of clients.
• Experience in the kitchen/cooking, as well as working with children, is preferred but not required.
• Current/valid non-expired driver's license. This position requires driving; you must be a minimum age of 21 and have an insurable driving record.
• Social security card
• Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills and have knowledge of microsoft-based programs such as Word and Outlook.
• You will be required to complete MAC (Medication Assistant Certified) training.
• Orientation is required for employment. There are 5 days of paid orientation held Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
