Job description

  • Promote Chamber events, programs, ribbon cuttings, networking opportunities, and community initiatives.
  • Highlight member businesses through social media spotlights, success stories, and testimonials.
  • Attend Chamber events to capture photos, videos, and live content.
  • Working with the GCACC Marketing Committee, support website content updates and ensure information is current and accurate.
  • Collaborate with staff, volunteers, committees, and community partners on marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor social media trends and recommend new strategies to increase engagement and reach.
  • With the GCACC Marketing Committee, help develop annual marketing and communications plans.
  • Manage online event promotion and registration campaigns.
  • Create content that demonstrates the value and impact of Chamber membership.
  • Support sponsorship fulfillment by ensuring sponsor recognition across digital platforms.
  • Maintain a digital library of photos, videos, graphics, and marketing assets.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Video recording equipment?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Media Specialist to elevate our brand presence across digital platforms. In this role, you will craft compelling content, create and manage social media campaigns, and engage with our online community to foster meaningful relationships. You will attend Chamber events, programs, and member businesses, and create written and video content to drive interest in the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce and our 750 business members., * 2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of membership-based organizations, chambers of commerce, or nonprofit associations is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact
  • Strong working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Experience with graphic design and content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms (Plannable) and analytics tools.
  • Strong photography, videography, and video editing skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about community engagement.
  • Ability to interview members and write feature stories, blog posts, and success stories.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional, outgoing personality., * Bachelor's (Preferred), * Social Media Management: 2 years (Required)
