Job description

As a Tableau Developer at IBR, you will play a key role in designing and implementing secure, next-generation solutions that support critical missions. As a member of the Manpower, Analytics, and Human Resources Systems (MAHRS) program, you will collaborate with technical leaders, business stakeholders, and a multi-disciplinary team to ensure solutions are scalable, secure and forward-thinking, while remaining aligned with organizational and program goals. The ideal candidate will be experienced in overseeing, developing, and maintaining policy for the HR Systems and data operations. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to technical strategy within a dynamic, mission-driven, and customer focused environment., * Design and develop data visualization products by integrating complex data from multiple sources into actionable insights.

  • Design, develop, enhance, and support dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense, QlikView, and or Databricks.
  • Build and maintain data models within Qlik environments to support scalable and efficient reporting solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, and debug Qlik applications and dashboards.
  • Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data from a variety of structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Transform data into datasets and data tables within BI tools including Qlik, Cognos, and Databricks
  • Perform performance tuning and optimization of Qlik applications, including data load scripts and front end dashboards
  • Support data migration, integration, and system to system data transfers
  • Develop reoccurring reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly), and ad hoc reports to meet stakeholder and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Document SOPs including ETL process, data flows, and dashboard development standards
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting solutions., This role primarily involves sedentary work, in a workplace and/or home office environment. There are some physical demands associated with the role, including:
  • Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer workstation.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment or materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required.
  • Work may need to be performed in a fast-paced environment requiring quick decision making.
  • Flexible work arrangements may be available based on business needs.
  • Will be exposed to a wide variety of clients in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Schema design?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree in information technology?, Years' Experience: 3+ years professional experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field

Security Clearance: IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must currently hold an active Secret security clearance.

Work Schedules: IBR promotes work-life balance by offering flexible scheduling options. Standard business hours are aligned to the Eastern Time Zone.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Qlik and Tableau required.
  • Experience with Cognos BI, Power BI, DOB/Jupiter or similar tools in generating reports, dashboards and metrics.
  • Business Intelligence Development experience required
  • Experience in data mining, * 3+ years professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related field.
  • Must currently have an active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT related field required
  • Hands on experience with Qlik Sense and/or QlikView, including dashboard development, scripting, and data modeling.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, reports, and metrics across BI Platforms (Qlik, Tableau, Cognos, Power BI, or similar).
  • Qlik and Tableau platform experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI technologies including Power BI, SSIS, and SSRS
  • Proven experience developing and optimizing ETL workflows and data pipelines
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, fact and dimension tables, and schema design.
  • Experience performing performance tuning and optimization of Qlik applications and data models.
  • Strong data modeling and data transformation experience required.
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages including Python or R preferred.
  • Experience with Databricks preferred.
  • Experienced in collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into technical solutions.

The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 - $130,000 USD annually. This is a good-faith estimate and not a salary guarantee as compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, skills, associated role responsibilities, applicable contractual requirements, and geographic location., * 401(k) matching
