Job description

Insight Global's client is building a high-visibility Transformation Office (TMO) to lead enterprise-wide, multi-million-dollar technology initiatives. This Project Analyst will act as a central point of accountability for portfolio-level performance, financial transparency, and delivery insight across IT initiatives.

This role is heavily focused on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, governance, and KPI tracking across large transformation programs. The individual will partner closely with Finance, IT leadership, PMO/TMO, and initiative leads to ensure disciplined execution and executive-level visibility.

Core mission: Drive financial tracking, performance visibility, and data-driven decision support across enterprise IT transformation.

Day to Day

  • Own financial tracking & performance across IT initiatives (budget, forecast, spend, value realization)

  • Track and report on portfolio KPIs and overall program health

  • Consolidate large volumes of data points into concise, executive-ready reporting

  • Partner heavily with Finance to align on forecasting, spend, and financial governance

  • Prepare SteerCo and executive-level materials, including messaging and dashboards

  • Monitor delivery risks, dependencies, and performance gaps and escalate appropriately

  • Support day-to-day execution visibility (D2D) across transformation initiatives

  • Ensure consistent reporting across program-level (not just project-level) initiatives

Participate in governance forums to drive alignment across IT, Finance, and leadership

Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law.

Requirements

Must Haves

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT project reporting, PMO, financial analysis, or program support

  • Strong understanding of IT financials (budgeting, forecasting, CapEx vs. OpEx, vendor spend)

  • Experience supporting technology initiatives directly

  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments

  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to validate and reconcile data

Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field Plusses

  • Prior TMO (Transformation Office) experience - highly preferred

  • PMO / portfolio management background

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, or Clarity

  • Power BI and SQL for dashboarding and KPI reporting

  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills for executive reporting
