IT Desk Support

The IT Desktop Support position is responsible for providing technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, software, printers, network access, and user account issues. This role assists employees with day-to-day technology needs, supports user onboarding and offboarding, troubleshoots common IT problems, and works closely with the IT team to maintain a reliable and secure technology environment. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize assigned tasks, and follow through on support requests in a timely and professional manner, * Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related hardware.

• Provide technical support to end users for hardware, software, network access, email, printers, and general IT-related issues.
• Set up new user accounts, computer profiles, network access, security permissions, shared drives, and application access as needed.
• Install, configure, update, and test approved software applications and operating systems.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including workstation setup, account creation, password resets, and equipment recovery.
• Troubleshoot common network connectivity issues, including wired and wireless access, printers, shared resources, and basic network hardware.
• Support and maintain network printers, scanners, file shares, directory structures, user rights, and security permissions.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades, repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Assist with basic network operations, including setup and maintenance of network equipment under the direction of the Network Administrator or IT Manager.
• Respond to support requests in a timely and professional manner, documenting issues, resolutions, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system.
• Provide excellent customer service while assisting users with IT questions, troubleshooting, and access to company technology resources.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment, software, and assigned assets.
• Follow company IT policies, security procedures, and best practices when handling systems, data, and user access.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft products and services, including Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Azure/Azure Active Directory.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize assigned tasks, and follow through on support requests in a timely and professional manner.

Do you have experience in SharePoint?, Must have working knowledge of Microsoft products and services, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Azure/Azure Active Directory., Experience setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting Ubiquiti UniFi equipment, Wi-Fi access points, switches, routers, and related network hardware is a plus.
