Job description

Insight Global is seeking 2 Senior Product Owners to support a large health insurance client. This role will partner closely with an engineering team that has recently transitioned from the business into technology and is moving toward a product centric, agile delivery model.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Supporting teams that are not currently agile, guiding them through an agile transformation and helping establish core agile practices (e.g., understanding backlogs, sprint planning, Jira usage)

  • Working with applications that are configured and customized for internal telesales agents who sell Medicare products over the phone

  • Collaborating across a mix of vendor provided and internally developed systems, including CRM and sales enablement platforms

  • Supporting and understanding end to end CRM workflows, including how brokers sell plans to prospects and how prospects shop for and enroll in plans

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

  • Product Management Experience:

o 5+ years in a product management role

o 5+ years of hands-on experience in software product management, with proven success shipping software across multiple releases

o Demonstrated ownership of the full product lifecycle-from discovery through launch-within an agile environment

  • Agile Experience:

o 3+ years working with agile teams using Scrum

o Experience supporting teams during an agile transformation or in early-stage agile environments

  • Sales / Agent Enablement Tools:

o 3+ years of experience working with agent or sales enablement platforms, or similar internal-facing tools that support sales or customer service teams

  • Tools & Processes:

o Strong experience with Jira

  • Availability:

o Ability to work East Coast hours
