GIS Technician - III

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated GIS Technician - III to join our dynamic geospatial team. • Conduct land surveying activities utilizing GPS technology and collaborate with surveyors to ensure spatial data accuracy.
• Create precise drafting and mapping outputs through AutoCAD and CAD software, supporting project design and documentation efforts.
• Perform comprehensive spatial analysis using Python scripting, JavaScript APIs, and data modeling techniques to generate insightful visualizations and reports.
• Manage large datasets by implementing data collection strategies, data management protocols, and ensuring data integrity across multiple platforms.
• Lead GIS project initiatives by coordinating tasks, setting timelines, and providing technical guidance to team members.
• Utilize APIs for data integration from external sources to enhance GIS functionalities and support real-time data updates.
• Support construction projects through detailed mapping, site analysis, and progress tracking using ArcGIS and GPS tools.
• Develop custom scripts for automation of routine tasks, improving workflow efficiency and reducing manual effort.
• Facilitate training sessions for staff on GIS tools such as ArcGIS, JavaScript scripting, and data visualization techniques to foster team growth.

Do you have experience in Team leadership?, * Proven experience in GIS technology with a strong background in ArcGIS platform development and management.

• Expertise in land surveying methods combined with proficiency in GPS equipment operation.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL), data analysis skills, and experience working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD drafting standards, Python scripting, JavaScript APIs, and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with data collection techniques in field environments using GPS devices and mobile GIS applications.
• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex spatial data for decision-making purposes.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing projects or mentoring junior staff members.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and present technical findings clearly.
• Knowledge of SharePoint for document management and project collaboration is preferred.
