Job description
We're looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. You'll be a key player in building and maintaining cutting-edge web applications. This position requires a problem-solver with solid experience in modern technologies, including: designing, building, and integrating complex software solutions.
Major Purpose:

This position works with the engineering team to analyze requirements, implement and integrate features, coordinate with others, and write and test code to deliver moderately complex functionality on a complete product or portion of a product it supports.

This position works on continuous improvement projects (performance, quality, cost) based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications.

This position leads to the resolution of production issues in a timely manner based on SLAs. Resolution of medium to difficult technical issues. Experience in implementation and production support and incident management as well
Major Duties:
- Design, Develops, codes, configures, and tests programs and systems.
- Collaborates with other stakeholders and team members
- Ability to manage many competing priorities/requests in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and pairing programming
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web services design?, * Project experience in customer-facing web application development (B2B)
- 5+ years of experience in web application development
- Experience in Java 8 (or above), SpringBoot - candidate must be able to showcase and discuss proven work projects
- Microservice architecture & RESTful web services
- Heavy emphasis on maintaining application in a production supported environment
- Unit Test frameworks
- Database - PostgreSQL
- Code Repository: GitHub
- Continuous Integration tool configuration and operation Github Action
- Experience working in an Agile-led team environment. familiarity with Jira
- Experienced in AWS platform and related cloud technologies (AWS certification preferred)
- Nice to have experience - Typescript, ReactJS, Redux
- Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with tools like Datadog or AWS CloudWatch for observability and debugging.
This role is onsite in Moline, IL. Talent must be able to work onsite 4 days a week.
