Job description
As a Application Engineer - Digital Transformation, you'll be part of our Shopfloor Digitization team working as a remote employee. You'll get to:
- Lead and drive multiple projects to completion with customers, internal teams, and third-party partners.
- Develop and maintain processes for pre-delivery, deployment and post deployment, ensuring documentation in internal repositories.
- Collaborate with the Tulip engineering team to scope and develop new features.
- Serve as the technical lead on pre-deployment calls.
- Write SQL queries, HTTP GET/POST requests.
- Deploy Tulip software apps and On-Premise connector host using Tulip Linux tools.
- Partner with site operations to scope projects, define requirements, and ensure successful customer deployments.
- Collaborate with business units to develop proofs of concept, prototypes, and pilots for IoT & Connected Applications, as well as IT/OT architecture.
- Conduct relevant analysis through interviews, data collection, and internal/external research.
- Establish frameworks and methodologies to identify, prioritize, structure, and solve problems.
- Support objectives and timelines for deliverables in alignment with Business Unit goals, collaborating with peers and subject matter experts as needed.
- Complete initial technical evaluations, providing subject matter expertise with internal and external resources.
- Ensure solutions comply with strategic direction and organizational standards.
- Address stakeholder requirements and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
- Facilitate the sharing of ideas and best practices across the global network using existing and emerging technologies.
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment; 2+ yeas of experience in R&D, engineering, manufacturing or advancemed operations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development (backend/frontend, UI/UX).
- Proficiency in SQL and Time Series Data, with expertise in at least one programming language (Python, C#, or JavaScript).
- Background in web application development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and integration with RESTful APIs and SOAP web services. Ignition SCADA helpful.
- Skilled in Linux environments and SSH.
- Proficency developing Tulip Interfaces apps or No-code / Low-code platform
- Knowledge of Node-RED and Node.js frameworks.
- Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience using Jira for project tracking and management.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and ISA-95 standards.
- Familiarity with ERP and MES systems, preferably SAP.

The Salary range for this position is $72,000.00 - $115,900.00
