Summary: The Senior Director Analytics leads Envision's enterprise analytics strategy, execution, and delivery. This role is responsible for enabling analytics, reporting, self-service capabilities, and data visualization across the organization. This role owns the delivery of analytics within the IT function and corporate business units and leads the Analytics Center of Excellence, ensuring coordination, best practices, and upskilling of analytics professionals across the enterprise. The Senior Director Analytics partners with business, clinical, and functional teams and stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that support strategic goals and improve outcomes. This leader also champions a culture of data literacy and innovation while ensuring analytics are built on trusted, governed data., * Define and execute the enterprise analytics roadmap aligned to Envision's business priorities.
- Oversee the development of dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs that monitor clinical, operational, and financial performance.
- Expand self-service capabilities and promote responsible access to data through enablement and user support.
- Lead the Analytics Center of Excellence to align tools, processes, and capabilities across business units.
Delivery & Visualization
- Deliver analytics products within the IT function and across corporate departments, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Ensure standardization and consistency in visualization design and reporting.
- Lead the selection and evolution of analytics tools and platforms, including dashboarding, semantic layer, and exploration tools.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with functional and clinical teams to gather requirements and co-create analytics that meet business needs.
- Work with data engineering and governance teams to ensure metrics are well-defined, reliable, and traceable.
- Participate in enterprise governance forums to support shared understanding and accountability for metric definitions.
Innovation & Advanced Analytics
- Promote the use of advanced analytics (forecasting, segmentation, prescriptive recommendations) to enhance decision-making.
- Collaborate with product teams to bring AI-powered insights into operational workflows.
- Stay current on analytics trends, tools, and methods to evolve capabilities.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Build and lead a high-performing team of analytics professionals, including analysts, BI developers, and visualization specialists.
- Cultivate a culture of learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Design and execute a talent development strategy aligned to enterprise analytics maturity.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to analytics professionals across the organization as part of the Center of Excellence.
Data Literacy & Adoption
- Partner with stakeholders to improve data literacy through training, documentation, and support.
- Actively promote adoption of analytics tools and assets through targeted campaigns and user engagement.
- Serve as a bridge between business users and technical teams to translate needs into effective analytics solutions.
Requirements

- Demonstrated experience building and leading enterprise analytics functions, with both solid-line accountability for core analytics teams and dotted-line influence across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and data visualization best practices.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights that drive action.
- Strong familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), semantic layers, and data modeling.
- Understanding of data governance, data lineage, and metric certification practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Healthcare analytics experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- 12 years of experience in analytics or business intelligence required.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional technical teams required.
- Healthcare or highly regulated industry experience required.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and platforms.
- Proficiency with SQL and data modeling concepts.
- Experience with enterprise data environments such as Snowflake.
