Job description

SUMMARY: Maintainsnetwork operations, assists in increasing the user knowledge of desktop software systems, and maximizes the usefulness of the software & equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Provide first-line technical support for staff (in person, phone, or ticketing system)

· Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices

· Assist users with login issues, password resets, and account access

· Set up new employee workstations (PCs, monitors, phones, peripherals)

· Install and configure standard business applications

· Support daily use of Jonas Club Management System

· Troubleshoot login, printing, and module issues (POS, accounting, membership)

o Maintain and troubleshoot POS terminals (front-of-house)

o Support kitchen printers (KDS/printers):

· Fix connectivity issues

· Replace paper, ribbons, or printers as needed

· Ensure orders are routing correctly

o Respond quickly to outages during service (high priority)

o Test systems before peak dining hours

· Escalate system-level issues to our MSP or vendor when needed

· Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity issues for staff and guests

· Assist with basic network troubleshooting (cables, ports, reboots)

· Escalate advanced network issues to Tier 2/Network team

· Support conference rooms and AV setups

· Assist with company mobile devices (iPhones, tablets, iPads for POS)

· Configure email and apps on mobile devices

· Support mobile POS devices used in dining or pool areas

· Ensure POS terminals are operational before service hours

· Log and track all support requests in ticketing system

· Document resolutions and common fixes

· Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 2 support

· Follow SLA response times, especially during peak club operations

· Knowledge of hospitality POS environments

· Basic networking knowledge (switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi)

· Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / Active Directory

· Be available for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and events, Safety must be embraced by all employees. We need to always work safely and assist others to work safely by following departmental and company safety procedures.

Requires excellent interpersonal communication skills. Detail oriented., MIS degree or a minimum of 5 years of related experience in the technology field in a club or hotel environment preferably., Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
