Job description
- Defines and drives the long-term enterprise architecture vision, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technology investments across the organization.
- Partners with business and IT leadership to shape technology roadmaps, influence strategic initiatives, and ensure enterprise architecture supports business transformation and innovation.
- Ensures current and future business needs are met through scalable, sustainable, and adaptable technology solutions.
- Establishes and governs enterprise-wide standards, frameworks, and reference architectures to promote consistency and interoperability across platforms and business units.
- Leads the evaluation of emerging technologies, assessing their strategic fit and potential impact on enterprise capabilities and competitive advantage.
- Provides guidance on complex technology decisions, balancing risk, performance, and business priorities.
- Acts as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing enterprise technology strategy and investment decisions.
- May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: Generally, a minimum of 14 years of experience enterprise architecture, or a related field. Completion of or continuing progress toward a Professional certifications preferred, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or equivalent cloud/architecture credentials.
Prefer:
- Experience with Cloud Platforms
- Background in Microservices & Modern Architecture Platforms
- Knowledge of Enterprise Data Platforms & Analytics Ecosystems
- Experience working with AI Agents
- Strong Software Development Background
Scope of Job/Qualifications: Sets the enterprise architecture vision and directs multi-year roadmaps that drive business transformation. Demonstrates extensive enterprise/solution architecture experience across multiple domains and experience directing large-scale modernization and optimization efforts. Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF). Expertise in EA methods and artifacts (e.g., capability/value-stream models, reference architectures, standards, roadmaps). Proven ability to translate strategy into target/transition architectures and rationalize portfolios with clear cost-benefit. Requires in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. Performs work under limited supervision. Expert analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Proven ability to lead multi-team initiatives and mentor and develop architects and technical leaders. Recognized as a subject matter expert on the team and across the organization.
