Job description
- Design, deploy, and manage LAN, WAN, MPLS, and VPN networks to ensure seamless connectivity across multiple sites.
- Configure and maintain Cisco routers, Cisco ASA firewalls, Juniper devices, Meraki solutions, and other network hardware to optimize performance and security.
- Implement and monitor network security measures such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption protocols, PKI, and network access controls including Cisco ISE and Active Directory integrations.
- Manage network infrastructure components like SAN, NAS, NFS, and storage solutions ensuring data integrity and high availability.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, perform regular system updates, and apply best practices for cloud security in platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Automate network configurations using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or tools like Ansible to streamline operations.
- Monitor network health utilizing tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk; troubleshoot issues related to routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), load balancing, and network performance.
- Support remote access solutions including VPNs, SSH, SFTP, Remote Desktop software, ensuring secure connectivity for remote users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network architecture planning, SDLC processes, system upgrades, virtualization (vSphere, VMware), and cloud migrations.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and incident reports adhering to ITIL standards.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in computer networking, network security, and system administration, with a focus on ensuring high availability, security, and performance across diverse network environments. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies including cloud platforms, virtualization, and advanced routing protocols to support our enterprise operations., * Proven experience in designing and managing enterprise networks with expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other core network protocols.
- Strong knowledge of network hardware including Cisco IOS/ASA, Juniper devices, Meraki appliances, and open-source platforms like Ubuntu, Debian, or CentOS.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere or Citrix environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash), automation tools (Ansible), and system administration across Windows, Linux/Unix systems (Solaris, BSD).
- Understanding of security frameworks including encryption standards, SSO integrations (LDAP), high availability architectures, load balancing solutions, and vulnerability assessments.
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE (Routing & Switching), Cisco Security (CCSP), or equivalent are preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
