Role Overview The Workday Extend Consultant supports BNB's capability to design, build, and deliver scalable applications and technical solutions within the Workday ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of technology, consulting delivery, and customer value. You will contribute to Workday Extend initiatives and customer-specific developments that improve user experience, automate business processes, and expand the value clients obtain from their Workday investment. We are looking for technically oriented professionals at Analyst or Consultant level with strong technical foundations, curiosity for the Workday platform, and the ability to grow into a trusted technical advisor. A strong Workday Extend Consultant does not simply collect technical requirements and build what is requested. The role requires understanding the customer's business problem first, assessing what can already be addressed through standard Workday functionality, and designing Extend solutions only where they provide clear added value. Profile We are looking for a curious and technically minded professional who enjoys solving business problems, learning new technologies, and building practical, scalable solutions. You should feel comfortable collaborating with customers, functional consultants, solution architects, and technical teams to design solutions that balance business needs, technical quality, and long-term maintainability. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking, consulting discipline, and a pragmatic mindset, understanding both customer priorities and project realities. Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements and help design scalable solutions within the Workday ecosystem. Collaborate with customers and functional teams to identify the most effective solution, leveraging standard Workday capabilities whenever possible. Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday Extend applications and related technical components. Participate in customer workshops, solution design sessions, and technical discussions. Work with APIs, integrations, web services, and modern technologies such as REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML. Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and deliver practical, maintainable solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Functional, Integrations, Reporting, Data) to ensure high-quality delivery. Contribute to innovation, reusable assets, AI-driven productivity initiatives, and continuous improvement across projects.

Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, IT, or related technical disciplines. Experience in software development, systems implementation, integrations, or enterprise applications. Knowledge of web technologies and data formats such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML (GraphQL is a plus). Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security concepts (OAuth, SAML, JWT, roles, permissions, certificates). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them in real-world customer scenarios. Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and functional stakeholders. Attention to detail and commitment to quality, testing, and documentation. Professional fluency in English. Proactive, ownership-driven mindset and ability to work autonomously. Nice to Have Previous experience with Workday Extend or other enterprise application platforms. Workday certifications (or willingness to certify). Experience with Workday Integrations, Workday Studio, Orchestrate, EIBs, Core Connectors, BIRT, Prism, or Reporting. Experience in consulting or professional services environments. Familiarity with Workday HCM, Finance, or Planning. Additional languages such as Spanish, French, or Italian.
