Job description

As our FPGA Firmware Engineer you will work in the Innovation Department, designing new IP blocks, testing and integrating IP blocks for new applications, and applying your innovative capacities to tackle the many challenges ahead. With the focus on FPGAs and embedded processing, you will be crucial to the team, as you will be involved in critical aspects to realizing our products., * Part of the core radar design team as the lead of embedded design

  • Design and implementation of IP blocks
  • Integration of IP blocks into the systems
  • Sharing your knowledge with the rest of the team
  • Training & coaching of junior members
  • Establishment of an embedded roadmap in collaboration with the Head of Innovation
  • Maturing the design process and existing IP

Requirements

Do you have a Master's degree?, * Over five years of experience in FPGA development

  • Familiarity with Intel (Quartus) tool suite
  • A solid background in VHDL
  • MSc. (EE or IT) level of thinking and technical performance
  • Affinity with radar systems
  • Eager to learn & persistent
  • Structured way of reporting and communicating
  • Familiarity with the Intel/Altera suite is a bonus
  • Fluent in English

Also depending on your experience and seniority, this role offers the opportunity to take on Team Lead responsibilities, guiding the compliance strategy and mentoring the wider engineering team.
