Job description
We're looking for a sharp, careful TypeScript developer to join our team and help build and maintain complex automated software systems in a live production environment. If you live at the intersection of code, print, and emerging AI - we'd love to talk.
Requirements
- TypeScript & React
- Git, Shell, SQL
- MacOS proficiency
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Experience working on live production systems with care and precision
- Redis
Design & Print Tools
- Adobe UXP (preferred)
- AppleScript (preferred; can learn on the job)
- Photoshop & Illustrator familiarity preferred
- Prepress experience a plus
AI & Automation
- Integrating LLM APIs into production pipelines (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Vision/multimodal AI for image analysis - defect detection, layout validation, color checking
- AI-assisted preflight, file routing, and spec interpretation
- Prompt engineering for consistent, production-safe outputs
- Adobe Firefly API or Sensei-based tools a plus
- AI + UXP or AppleScript integration experience a plus
- Human-in-the-loop review workflows for high-stakes print production
Bonus Points
- OCR / document intelligence (Azure Document Intelligence, AWS Textract)
- AI agent frameworks for multi-step automated workflows
- Color science, ICC profiles, or RIP system familiarity
