Requirements

  • Candidates should have mainframe skills including CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS and JCL.
  • Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial.
  • Have knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality.
  • The ability to provide configuration management/release management support and guidance for Endevor software.
  • Thorough knowledge of SQL programming language and techniques.
  • Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2.
  • The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings.
  • The ability to provide CICS administration, problem solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as centralized IT personnel.
