Job description
We are seeking a BOM & Engineering Change Management Specialist to support and optimize Electronic Bill of Material (EBOM) and Engineering Change Management processes across multiple regions and functional teams. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for BOM structures, change control processes, and PLM/PDM systems while providing technical guidance and process support to engineering and manufacturing teams., * Manage and maintain Electronic Bills of Material (EBOM) and Engineering Change processes.
- Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and related documentation.
- Support process improvements and standardization across engineering and industrial functions.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of product data within PLM/PDM systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and program teams to implement product changes.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support related to BOM and change management processes.
- Assist with system optimization, process documentation, and workflow improvements.
- Monitor and resolve BOM discrepancies, change control issues, and data management concerns.
- Support global teams with configuration management and product release activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience with Bill of Material (BOM) management and Engineering Change processes.
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and configuration management.
- Experience with PLM/PDM systems such as Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, SAP, or similar tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
- Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) processes.
- Experience supporting global engineering or manufacturing teams.
