Oracle Database Automation Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Oracle Database Automation Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week) with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX, Charlotte, NC and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity., * Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and shell scripts for Oracle database automation

• Manage and support Oracle Databases on the Exadata platform
• Utilize Python, Ansible, or Java for development, integration, and troubleshooting tasks
• Work within a CI/CD process framework to deploy database changes

We are seeking a seasoned and motivated Oracle Database Automation Engineer with excellent experience in Ansible Playbooks, shell scripting, and the Oracle Database on Exadata platform. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, quick learner, capable of working independently as well as within a team to automate and streamline database operations., * At least 7 years of experience with Ansible playbooks, shell scripting, and Oracle Databases on Exadata

• Hands-on expertise with Python, Ansible, or Java (development, integration, troubleshooting)
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite

Desired skills:

• Experience with CI/CD processes (e.g., Jenkins, XLR) is a plus
• Familiarity with scrum framework values and agile practices
• Hands-on knowledge of Jira
