We are seeking a detail-oriented Database Analyst / Data Quality & Requirements Specialist to support database management, data quality initiatives, reporting, and business requirements gathering. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL, PostgreSQL, Data Analysis, Data Quality Management, Business Analysis, and Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to collaborate directly with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and usability across enterprise systems.
This role combines database administration, data analysis, reporting, requirements gathering, data governance, and application integration support while driving process improvements and reporting enhancements., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational database concepts.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, formulas, filters, and data validation.
- Experience performing data audits, data reconciliation, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.
- Ability to gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Python, AWS, and API integrations is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience
- 0 5 years of experience in Database Analysis, Data Analysis, Data Quality, Business Analysis, Database Administration, or related technical roles.
- Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, joins, aggregations, and validation checks.
- Experience maintaining relational databases and ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
- Experience creating technical documentation, data dictionaries, field mappings, process flows, and audit reports.
- Exposure to data governance, compliance controls, application integrations, and workflow automation is preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, AWS Cloud Services, IBM Maximo, AVEVA PI System, or similar enterprise platforms is a plus.
