Job description
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
- Perform complex data analysis and investigation for customer requests to explain results and to make appropriate recommendations
- Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
- Analyze business objectives and develop data solutions to meet customer needs
- Improve and customize current data solutions to meet business functional and non-functional requirements
- Research new and existing data sources in order to contribute to new development, improve data management processes, and make recommendations for data quality initiatives
- Perform periodic data quality reviews for internal and external data
- Ensure timely resolution of queries and data issues
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
Requirements
This role involves accessing and analyzing organizational data, building data pipelines, and optimizing data architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets to support software developers, database architects, and data scientists on data initiatives and ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR an Associate's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with two (2) years of experience
- Strong knowledge of SQL required, with the ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries for data mining
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
- Experience manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets
- Demonstrated ability to effectively participate in multiple, concurrent projects
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and profile data through leveraging advanced data modeling, source system databases, or data mining techniques
- Experience with data analysis, quality, and profiling tools including but not limited to Rapid SQL, AQT, Information Analyzer, and Informatics
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and recommend solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Engineer position with a Renowned Healthcare Organization located in Rochester, MN. This is a 12-month contract opportunity. This position is 100% remote.
Compensation: $60.00 per hour, W2
