Job description

Position Summary: The IT Support Technician provides technical support for a multi-location business environment, ensuring reliable operation of computers, networks, business applications, and communication systems across corporate and field locations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting technology issues, maintaining system security and performance, and supporting employees in both office and remote operational settings. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, highly organized, and capable of balancing day-to-day support requests with ongoing technology initiatives., * Provide first-level and advanced technical support for employees across office and remote locations.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and business-critical technology systems.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, user accounts, email systems, and collaboration tools.
  • Perform routine software updates, operating system maintenance, security patching, and system monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot network infrastructure, wireless connectivity, internet outages, and communication system issues.
  • Assist with the setup, maintenance, and support of technology equipment used in retail and operational environments.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, internet service providers, and software providers to resolve technical issues.
  • Document support tickets, equipment inventories, system changes, and technical procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including workstation setup and user access management.
  • Support technology upgrades, equipment deployments, and special IT projects.
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness and ensure compliance with company technology policies and best practices.
  • Travel to local facilities as needed to provide on-site support and maintenance.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Productivity software support?, * Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a related technical role.

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, and system maintenance.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and internet connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between local business locations.
  • Experience supporting multi-site business operations.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent technical certifications.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and endpoint security solutions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move computers, monitors, printers, and other technology equipment.
  • Ability to travel to various local locations and occasionally, * Do you have experience with Point of Sales systems?
