Job description
Creates and updates scheduling in IBM Workload Scheduler in the distributed and mainframe environments, per requested specifications, ensuring compliance with quality standards and policies.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
- IBM Workload Scheduling for Mainframe and Distributed Systems
- Build permanent scheduling definitions, including: calendars, resources, variables, and events.
- Mainframe ad hoc scheduling support
- Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues as second level support.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- 1.5+ years experience in an IT role (e.g. Operations, Production Support, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support)
- 1.5+ years IBM Workload Scheduler z/OS scheduling experience
- 1.5+ years IBM Workload Scheduler Distributed scheduling experience
- Working knowledge in these technologies:
- OS: UNIX, Linux, Mainframe, Windows Server
- Protocols: Telnet, SFTP, TCP/IP
- MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Careful attention to detail
- Customer focus
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with IWS, JES, JCL, MVS-TSO, ISPF/XEDIT, CLIST, IBM Utilities
- Familiarity with SAP application scheduling
- Working knowledge: Vi and Unix Shell scripting
- Familiarity with Tools/Apps:
- Office 365
- ServiceNow: change management, work request, and incident, Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
