Senior Software Engineer (Hybrid - Edgewood, NY)

• Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions using Java and related technologies (eg, Java Struts, WebSphere, Tomcat).
• Analyze business and system requirements to develop effective and scalable technical solutions.
• Contribute within an Agile SDLC, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Debug, review, and maintain existing systems to ensure performance, stability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including business analysts, architects, and quality assurance professionals-to deliver production-ready features.
• Apply best practices in code quality, version control, and DevOps continuous integration.
• Optionally use AWS for cloud-based application deployment and infrastructure management.
• Provide technical knowledge sharing with team members.

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Experience with Java Struts, WebSphere, Tomcat, Oracle, JavaScript, and AWS (preferred).
• Understanding of Java, object-oriented programming, frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate, REST APIs, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (eg, EC2, S3, Lambda) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience working in an Agile SDLC environment.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and deliver efficient, maintainable solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting.
• Capable of managing tasks and priorities with minimal supervision.

Salary range: $120,000 - $130,000. Bonus eligible.
