Job description
- Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions using Java and related technologies (eg, Java Struts, WebSphere, Tomcat).
- Analyze business and system requirements to develop effective and scalable technical solutions.
- Contribute within an Agile SDLC, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Debug, review, and maintain existing systems to ensure performance, stability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including business analysts, architects, and quality assurance professionals-to deliver production-ready features.
- Apply best practices in code quality, version control, and DevOps continuous integration.
- Optionally use AWS for cloud-based application deployment and infrastructure management.
- Provide technical knowledge sharing with team members.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in Java development.
- Experience with Java Struts, WebSphere, Tomcat, Oracle, JavaScript, and AWS (preferred).
- Understanding of Java, object-oriented programming, frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate, REST APIs, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (eg, EC2, S3, Lambda) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience working in an Agile SDLC environment.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and deliver efficient, maintainable solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting.
- Capable of managing tasks and priorities with minimal supervision.
Benefits & conditions
Salary range: $120,000 - $130,000. Bonus eligible.
