Job description

The Mobile Pantry Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, planning, implementation, evaluation and expansion of GMFB internal distribution programs, including but not limited to: Mobile Pantry Program and other program distributions., * Coordinates implements and evaluates food bank internal distribution programs.

  • Responsible for assisting in advertising to community regarding distribution events.
  • Coordinates product ordering and reporting for distribution programs.
  • Responsible for all communication between the food bank, site-coordinators, government entities and community partners about program changes and needs.
  • Responsible for annual program evaluations and data analysis.
  • Ensures that the programs are fully functional and compliant.
  • Provides training to community program partners and volunteers to ensure program compliance is met.
  • Responsible for working with volunteer department and overseeing all distribution packing events.
  • Travels throughout the food bank's service area to promote and develop these programs.
  • Ensures good communication with the food bank staff to maintain inventory, accurate counts and event schedules.
  • Represents the food bank to community groups and events through public relations and speaking engagements.
  • Staffs all GMFB sponsored mobile pantry events alongside the GMFB driver.
  • Responsible for quality and food safety control at distribution events.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Volunteer management?, Experience in human services, program management, or business/account sales development. Knowledge and experience with programming in the non-profit sector. Knowledge of the community, program systems, program evaluation and program management. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong skills in leadership, problem solving and time management. Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail. Strong customer service skills. Time management skills. Ability to attend night and weekend meetings and travel. Possess excellent interpersonal skills in a diverse environment. Able to think creatively and strategically. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, familiarity with online databases a plus. Possess a valid Georgia Driver's License.
