Job description
We are looking for a Senior Storage Area Network Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale enterprise storage environment. This role focuses on maintaining reliable, high-performance storage systems that support critical business applications. What you'll do
- Manage and support SAN and NAS infrastructure across the enterprise
- Install, upgrade, and decommission storage arrays and SAN fabrics
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, perform root cause analysis, and resolve major incidents
- Optimize performance and ensure high availability of storage systems
- Partner with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and improvements
- Contribute to automation and modernization efforts
- Provide technical leadership and serve as an escalation point
- Maintain documentation and support ITIL-based processes
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in storage or infrastructure engineering
- Strong SAN and storage array experience in enterprise environments
- Knowledge of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NAS, and related technologies
- Experience with major vendors such as Dell EMC, Pure, IBM, Cisco, or Brocade
- Scripting or automation experience with Python or Ansible
- Familiarity with VMware, Linux, and Windows environments
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud storage such as AWS or Azure
- Background in automation and infrastructure modernization
