Job description
- Use React and Typescript to develop and manage our client portal
- Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software to meet requirements
- Design and develop test automation code
- Complete complex program changes independently
- Perform comprehensive analysis and design for broadly defined requirements
- Make significant technical contributions and help shape technical direction
- Provide estimates for user stories based on requirements, specifications, and designs
- Follow and contribute to SDLC standards and CI/CD procedures
- Monitor progress against estimates and provide status updates
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting across environments, including production issues
- Maintain existing code and monitor for failures in non-production environments
- Support QA, UAT, and post-implementation changes to ensure application integrity
- Share technical expertise and mentor others
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer related discipline or equivalent work experience
React - 4+ years
Node.js - 4+ years
Typescript - 4+ years
Javascript - 4+ years
CSS - 4+ years
Preferred
Node package management - 2+ years
Database (Relationships, optimizations, etc) - 4+ years
Containerization - 2+ years
Podman/Docker - 2+ years
Github/Github Actions - 2+ years
GitFlow - 2+ years

MySQL with Drizzlekit ORM
ETL
Logging and Error handling best practices
Code-first database design

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
