Job description

As a Design Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers, planners, and project managers to help deliver innovative infrastructure and development solutions for our clients and communities., * Support the planning, design, and production of engineering projects under the guidance of licensed professionals and senior staff.

  • Prepare plans, quantities, cost estimates, engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and other project deliverables.
  • Assist with the development and coordination of project designs across disciplines.
  • Apply engineering standards, company procedures, and client requirements to assigned tasks.
  • Participate in internal meetings, collaborate with project teams to advance project goals, and assist with client interactions and technical support as directed.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations with project managers and team members.
  • Help troubleshoot design and technical issues while developing practical solutions.
  • Manage multiple assignments and priorities while meeting project schedules and quality expectations.
  • Continue professional development through training, certifications, and mentorship opportunities.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Engineer in Training certification?, Do you have experience in Technical Proficiency?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree in engineering?, * Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.

  • 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and design practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating accountability, initiative, and a strong desire to learn.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
