Job description
- A modern Microsoft 365 environment with Entra ID, Intune, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and a growing SaaS stack
- Meaningful improvement work from day one, particularly around Intune device management and onboarding PowerShell automation
- AI tooling as a real part of the job. We use it to accelerate scripting, analysis, and automation, and we expect you to as well
- You'll work closely with the Technology Director and senior IT staff in a collaborative, team-first environment, * Occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb, balance, bend, stoop, or kneel (for example, when servicing endpoints or working in equipment areas).
- Frequently required to sit and talk or listen.
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity (keyboard, mouse, and device handling).
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, with occasional exposure to loud environments in warehouse or demo spaces.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (IT equipment, workstations) and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Requirements
You're the kind of person who takes ownership. You follow up before you're asked, you're solutions-focused, and you genuinely care about delivering a great experience every time.
This role has two equally important sides. You'll administer and improve our Microsoft 365 platforms and endpoints while also serving as the default first point of contact for IT support across the business. You approach both with the same care and pride.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with strong execution discipline on assigned systems and scope
- A confident troubleshooter who packages clean escalations with clear problem statements, reproduction steps, and a summary of troubleshooting already performed
- Comfortable owning the support queue while also doing meaningful platform administration work
- Someone who treats the ticket queue as a system to be improved, not just worked, by shifting repeatable Tier 1 issues toward automation and self-service over time
- Able to translate security and architecture direction set by third-party audits and senior IT staff into reliable day-to-day operations
- Committed to maintaining accurate, current documentation for systems, configurations, and support procedures, with a focus on enabling user self-service wherever possible
- A visible, accessible IT presence who builds trust across the business one interaction at a time, * 3-4 years in systems administration, IT operations, or a closely related role with direct end-user support responsibility
- Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive
- Experience managing Windows endpoints through Intune or comparable MDM tooling
- Working knowledge of MFA, conditional access, endpoint protection, and least-privilege access
- PowerShell fundamentals sufficient to read, modify, and responsibly run scripts in a live environment. AI tooling can accelerate the writing; this role provides the judgment to validate, test, and run scripts responsibly
- Demonstrated use of AI tooling (Claude, Copilot, or similar) in day-to-day IT work including support workflows, automation, and system improvement
- Experience with Freshservice or a comparable ITIL-aligned ticketing platform including queue management and incident handling
- Solid networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a genuine service orientation
Bonus points for:
- Experience with managed security platforms or SIEM/EDR tooling
- SaaS integration experience including SSO, provisioning, and API-driven configuration
- Familiarity with SharePoint information architecture and permissions at scale
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts and service management practices
- Microsoft certifications (MS-102, AZ-104, or equivalent)
Benefits & conditions
- Competitive pay
- Generous PTO + wellness time
- 401K with company match
- Life insurance (individual and dependent)
- Healthcare subsidy
- Quarterly team building events
- Frequent giveaways and free meals
- Casual dress, laid-back (non-corporate) environment
- Real mentorship and a clear path to grow
