Job description
- Develop models and algorithm for the TeraWave Custom Silicon, This includes packet processing, MAC, PHY, Radio DSP
- Drive for lowest power consumption and highest performance
- Target your algorithms for FPGA and ASIC implementation,
- Support the ASIC implementation thru Pre-silicon verification
- Design advanced Digital end to end communication systems
- Develop and model Channel impairments models
- Work collaboratively with ASIC, RFIC and Software implementation teams
- Work with the application team to bring up prototype pre-silicon and support all post-silicon to validate your architecture performance, Applicants for employment at Blue Origin must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S.as a refugee or granted asylum.

- Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
- Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience in signal processing or modem design and development
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
- Experience with networking , modem MAC and PHY, DSP, RF and/or Mixed Signal Designs
- Experience with MATLAB, System C, C/C++ or other System level tools
- Knowledge of DSP and communications systems including spread spectrum, forward error correction, and modulation types (OFDM, QPSK, QAM, PCM/FM, PAM)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Experience in full ASIC lifecycle (architecture, design, simulation, verification, validation, integration & test)
- Experience with Software-Defined Radio Architectures, ADC/DAC, and/or DSPs
- Familiarity with multirate Digital signal processing techniques

This role will be onsite in either the Bay Area-CA San Diego-CA, Austin-TX or Kent-WA.
