Job description

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a rapidly growing, customer-focused cloud engineering team supporting a large-scale SaaS environment. This role operates within a highly ticket-driven model, where work is directly tied to customer-impacting issues, requiring strong troubleshooting skills, ownership, and the ability to balance reactive support with proactive improvements.

In addition to resolving production issues, this individual will play a key role in driving automation and rebuilding existing processes to improve overall system reliability and efficiency. Much of the work will focus on identifying recurring issues and engineering long-term solutions, including strengthening critical workflows such as DNS playbooks by implementing guardrails and fail-safes. The environment emphasizes a proactive mindset, where engineers are expected to continuously look for opportunities to reduce manual effort and prevent future incidents.

This role sits at the intersection of operations and engineering, allowing you to take on manageable problems and turn them into scalable, automated solutions, while collaborating with a broader engineering team on more complex initiatives. You will also contribute to building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure through automation, and supporting a multi-cloud ecosystem. The team heavily leverages modern DevOps practices, enabling you to work across infrastructure, automation, and deployment workflows to improve system performance, stability, and operational maturity., The Cloud Network Engineer will manage, implement and support the Cloud Infrastructure and network. This role involves implementing efficient

engineering and operational processes, as well as establishing best practices to continuously enhance operational efficiency within and across

teams. This role is designed to fill the gap between our senior engineers and junior staff, providing hands-on expertise in cloud networking, performance troubleshooting, and infrastructure support across multiple cloud platforms., * Diagnose and resolve network performance issues across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Conduct packet capture analysis to troubleshoot connectivity and latency problems
  • Manage and configure firewalls, load balancers, and DNS/IP assignments

Support and optimize BGP routing and other network protocols

  • Collaborate with senior engineers on escalated issues and mentor junior team members
  • Interface with customers to resolve technical issues and ensure network reliability

Requirements

Experience working in a ticket-based, customer-driven support or DevOps environment

Strong experience supporting cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (experience with at least one required)

Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code

Experience using Ansible for configuration management

Proficiency with scripting using Python and cloud-native automation tools (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)

Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in tools such as GitLab and Concourse

Proven ability to identify and implement operational improvements and automation opportunities

Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, deployments, and production systems

Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to both operational support and engineering initiatives, * 10+ years of overall DevOps Engineering experience

  • 6+ years with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
  • 5+ years of Terraform for IaC
  • 5+ years of Ansible for configuration management
  • Strong experience with version control tools such as Git or GitHub
  • 4+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in tools such as GitLab and Concourse
  • Experience with Python for scripting or LAMBA in AWS -
