Job description
Provides technical guidance to MBSE systems and software engineers, supporting the execution of engineering projects within a SysML model using the Cameo Enterprise Architecture tool.
Scope includes staging Requirements, Behavior, Structure, Interfaces, and Parametric elements within an MBSE tool for a program. * Guide the program team in using the MBSE model to develop requirement decomposition for both functional and non-functional requirements, from System Specification down to the allocated HWCI and SW CSCI baseline.
- Lead the use of MBSE structures for functional decomposition from system-level functions to component-level functions, including establishing model structure and staging for creating and linking SysML artifacts such as Activity Diagrams, State Machines, Sequence Diagrams, Block Definition Diagrams (BDDs), and Internal Block Diagrams (IBDs), along with their derived requirements.
- Support the program team in developing MBSE interfaces and generating Data Architecture Model Libraries (DAML) and Domain-Specific Data Models (DSDM) in alignment with Ground Combat System (GCS) Common Infrastructure Architecture (GCIA) models and documentation.
- Develop and maintain MBSE-based metrics for program TPMs, trades, risks, and Design Decision Memorandums (DDMs).
- Provide program metrics on the maturity of the MBSE environment in accordance with contract requirements, program requirements, and GCIA implementation.
- Define and stage MBSE artifacts for integration of program CDRLs into the SysML model as required by the contract, supporting a digital engineering environment.
- Support Digital Engineering (DE) initiatives by enabling integration across tools such as Teamcenter, Cameo, MADe, Capital Harness, and SLICWave to support a unified, single source of truth for engineering data.
- Develop MBSE style guides across functional areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
